He was predeceased by: his parent Anthony Staffiery; and also Lauren Adolph. He is survived by: his parent Frances Staffiery (Hurley); his siblings, Stephen Staffiery (Janice) of Florida and Dorothy VonHandorf; his husband Joseph of Saugus; his nieces and nephews, Christopher VonHandorf (Helen) of Norwood, Erin Silva (Edwin) of Peabody, Taylor Misley of Oregon and Stephen Staffiery of Boston; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jason, Joseph, Kailey VonHandorf, Alexander Silva and Anthony Silva.
