She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Doherty; her mother Hannah Durant; and her siblings, Mary Allen, Margaret Cahill, Kay DeCoste, Barbara Sandison, Ann Corliss and Martin Durant.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey (Patricia) and Terence (Lynne); and her grandchildren, Patrick, Bridget of Chelmsford, Peter and Ian of Amherst. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Veronica's name to The Chelmsford Public Library, 25 Boston Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824.
