He was predeceased by: his wife Arleen Steeves (McNamara); his parents, Vergil Steeves and Irene Steeves (Anderson); and his sisters, Marjorie Brown of California and Sylvia Owens of California.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Leonard (Richard) of Hudson, NH, Patricia Clark (Gary) of North Chelmsford, Mary Ellen Curtis (Steven) of Chelmsford, Sharon Deloia (John) of Westford and James Steeves of Ayer; his grandchildren, Thomas, Christopher Leonard, David Clark, Caroline, Matthew, Peter Curtis, Rachel, Elizabeth Deloia and Allison Steeves; his sister Merna Doerr of Redding, CA; and his close friend Joyce Chambers of Worcester, MA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home (24 Worthen St, Chelmsford, MA 01824). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
