He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Dick and Florence Dick; his daughter Linda Young; and his sister Priscilla Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Ellen A. Dick (Hubley); his children, Stephanie Dick (Steven Stangle) of Pittsfield, MA, Kristen Michaud (Michael) of Groton, MA, Robert Dick (Doris) of Moyock, NC, Scott Dick (Marilyn) of Arlington, MA and Jonathan Dickson (Jenny) of Argile, TX; and also, Jess, Claire, Arielle and Eric. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
