It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Derosas of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, born in Arlington, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian I. DeRosas (Frenette); his parents, Ricardo DeRosas and Esther DeRosas (Coffey); and his sister Dolores Cunha (DeRosas). He is survived by: his children, Darlene DeRosas of Groton and Richard DeRosas of Chelmsford; his son-in-law John DeRosas (Karen) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Katherine, Shannon, Jack and Christine Crawford (Peter) of Shirley; his great grandchildren, Adam and Alex; his brothers, Ramon DeRosas (Marcia) of Arlington and James DeRosas of Memphis; and his sister-in-law Veronica Hayes (Robert) of Peabody. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“Dear Darlene, John, Richard, and family, I'm sorry I am not able to come to the services, but I wanted to wish you all my sincere condolences. One of my memories is when Uncle Dick graciously and bravely drove me to my driver's test . . . and again the next day since I failed the first time. Debbie remembers that he gave her a tour of his school when she first graduated with a teacher degree and gave her tips on job hunting. He will always be remembered fondly.
