He was predeceased by: his sisters, Vaia Veroulis and Stella Gavana; and his sister-in-law Niki Kanavas. He is survived by: his spouse Tasoula (Litsiou); his children, Voula (Terry Pope), Vaia (John Tehrani), Eleni (Matthew Phillips) and Angela Kanavas of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Anastasia, Georgea, Amalia Pope, Pantelis Tehrani and Charley Phillips; and his siblings, Vasilios Kanavas of Chelmsford, Taki Kanavas of Lowell, Tasa Ermilios (Thanasi) of Athens, Greece, Evangelia (Yiannis Chrysanthopoulou) of Greece, Panos (Fotini Litsiou) of Greece, Nikos Gavanas of Greece and Mixalis Veroulis of Dracut. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
