He was predeceased by: his parents, Olympia Maria Albu and Nicolae Albu; his sister Adriana; and his brother-in-law Cornel Bucur of Sibiu, Romania.. He is survived by: his brother Mihai Albu Sr. (Diana Albu) of Westford; his nephew Mihai Albu Jr. (Hanz Atia) of Somerville; his niece Stefana Dunn (Jacob Dunn) of Sudbury; and his friends, Stephen Currie and Maeghan Dillon of Chelmsford.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home (24 Worthen St, Chelmsford, MA 01824). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Mary Parish (25 North Rd, Chelmsford, MA 01824). A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Pine Ridge Cemetery (130 Billerica Rd, Chelmsford, MA 01824).
Memorial donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
