She was predeceased by: her parents, Medardo Muzzioli and Marion Muzzioli (Whitaker); and her siblings, Paul Muzzioli and Linda Doody. She is survived by: her husband Stephen C. Leccese; her children, Kim Mariotti (Mark) and Scott Leccese; her grandchildren, Marissa, Nicholas and Krista Mariotti; her great grandchild Vincenzo Mariotti; and her caregivers, Shakirah Namagala, Winnie Kyasimiire and Aisha Nsubuga. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
