It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Petersen of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, born in Lexington, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 30, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Cain-Petersen (Viscione); his parents, Robert Petersen and June Petersen (Hart); his siblings, George Petersen and Barbara Holman; and his son-in-law George Danas.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Danas of Lowell, Erik Petersen of Longmont, CO and Tami Tilton (Jon) of Groveland; his stepdaughter Janine "Nina" Hendrickson (Dennis) of Shirley; his sister-in-law Judy Petersen of Litchfield, NH; and his pet Rufus.
