He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Rice and Margaret Rice (Flaherty); and his brother Robert Rice. He is survived by: his wife Donna (Settanny); his children, Kelly M. Quinlan (Peter) of Andover, MA, Holly A. Mansfield (Jon) of Chelmsford, MA and Matthew L. Rice (Maxine) of Pelham, NH.; his grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, John "Jack", Mary Kate, Brian and Avery; his stepgrandchildren, Katherine, David, Matthew, Jennifer and Michael; his siblings, Katherine Mahoney, Edwina Migliaccio, Jim Rice (Marsha) and Timothy Rice; and his parents-in-law, Theodore J. Settanny, Carol, Brian Holbrook, Susan and Garry Wilson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
