She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Murphy and Janet Murphy (Brandt). She is survived by: her husband Jeff Gallant; her sons, Jeffrey Gallant (Leah) of Dedham and Scott Gallant (Ashley) of Chelmsford; her siblings, Bill Murphy (Cindy) of Charlestown, Jane Ballou (Phil) of Marstons Mills and Janet Frenette (Dana) of New Smyrna Beach, FL.; and her granddaughters, Caroline and Savannah.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathleen's memory to The Jimmy Fund or Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress.
