He was predeceased by: his parents, Jozsef Pokorny and Erzsebet Pokorny (Czifrik); and his sister Erzsebet Beluscsak. He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth; his uncle Miklos Czifrik; his daughters, Gabriele Stritch (James) of Berlin, CT, Christine Cambrils of Hudson, NH and Elizabeth Maurais (Gerald) of Hopedale, MA; his siblings, Imre Pokorny of Goppingen, Germany, Laszlo Pokorny of Budaors, Hungary and Ilona Berecz of Budaors; and his grandchildren, Kevin, Tyler, Aaron, Paul, Rita and Carrie.
