We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2021, at the age of 76, John Barry Fitzgibbons of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Fitzgibbons and Mary Ellen Fitzgibbons (O'Malley); his brother Kevin Fitzgibbons; and his brothers-in-law, Patrick McCarthy, Fred Murray and James Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Fitzgibbons (Moore); his children, Lyn O'Neil, Karen Carroll, BarriAnn Alonzo and Kevin Barry Fitzgibbons; his sons-in-law, Dan O'Neil, John Carroll and Roberto Alonzo; his stepdaughters, Jill Glidden and Stephanie Doherty (Patrick); his siblings, Anne (Richard Mahoney), James (Kathy Fitzgibbons), Joseph (Janice Fitzgibbons), Norah McCarthy, Deirdre Fitzgibbons (Gayle) and Robert Beaudoin; his parents-in-law, Marilyn Murray, Mary Moore, Karen Moore and Chris Moore; and his former wife Joan Fitzgibbons. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews.
