It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Balian of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, born in Watertown, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Balian and Baidzar Balian (Minassian); and his brother Shahan Balian of Mantua, NJ.. He is survived by: his wife Lucy (Maranian); his children, Nancy (Richard Doherty) of Acton, MA, Susan (Stephen Berberian) of Merrimack, NH and John (Kristin Balian) of Westford, MA.; and his grandchildren, Kevin Doherty, James Berberian (Laura), Katherine Berberian, Julie Berberian, Samuel Balian, Benjamin Balian and Sarah Balian. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren, but to his many nephews and nieces.
Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Church.
