Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joan Fontaine (Chelmsford, Massachusetts), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 88, on March 1, 2019. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph L. Masterson and Lillian M. Masterson (Triffitt); her husband Robert E. Fontaine (Bob); and her children, Stephen, Marianne (Steve Cwalina) of North Reading, David Fontaine and Joanne.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sarah Mackinnon, Renee, Sam and Joe Fontaine; her great grandchildren, Ava, Anthony, Jackson and Ethan Teles; and her sister Brenda (Terry O'Neil) of Penfield.
The family would like to thank the nurses, aides and staff of the Ross-Worthen Alzheimer's Unit at Carleton Willard Village in Bedford for the wonderful care they provided her during her last year of life.
