It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean A. Wetherell of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Jacob and Elizabeth Abbuhl (Grems); her husband Jim Wetherell; her siblings-in-law, George Wetherell (Penny), Rev. Sterling Wetherell (Anne) and Marge Laube (Wilbur); and her siblings, Howard Abbuhl, Donald Abbuhl and Arlene Markin (John).
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey (Christina) of Moundsville, WV, James II (Nancy) of Chelmsford, MA, Joel (Kelly) of Townsend, MA and Joy Papp (Scott) of Dighton, MA; her grandchildren, Nolan Wetherell of Gardner, MA, Nathan Wetherell (Cara) of Townsend, MA, Kelsey Wetherell of Townsend, MA, Nicole Wetherell of Amherst, MA, Brian Wetherell of Lowell, MA, Evan Papp (Jessica) of Dayton, OH, Victoria Papp (Joseph Alexander) of Dighton, MA and Joel Papp of Dighton, MA; her great grandchildren, June Nathan Wetherell, Aveline Kate Wetherell, Lily Ivy Wetherell and Charlotte Rose Papp; and her siblings-in-law, Georgia Abbuhl of Ava, NY and Tom Wetherell (Kathy) of Pittsford, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
