She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. McCarthy and Marie McCarthy (Bruno); her daughter Jennifer Ferreira; her son-in-law Robert Farrell; and her brother John McCarthy Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Patrick R. Renna Sr.; her children, Stacey Renna of Lowell, Patrick Renna Jr. (Andrea) of Westford, Robyn Farrell of Billerica, Melissa Jenkins (Steven) of Billerica and Rebecca Chaffee (Jason) of Billerica; her child-in-law Sal Ferreira of Andover; and her siblings, Chester McCarthy of Lincoln, Patricia Brady of Jensen Beach, FL, Helen VanNostrand, Kathleen McCarthy of The Villages, FL. and Margaret Murphy. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
