It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen G. Glinos of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 18, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jim Glinos; her parents, Hazel and George; her nieces and nephews, Christine Petersen Wagner and Glenn Petersen; her children, Stephen Glinos of Grantham, NH, Janet Deteran of Boyce, VA and Scott Glinos (Marcy) of Andover; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Glinos of Golden Valley, AZ, Robert Deteran of Boyce, VA, Diana Glinos of Boston, Russell Glinos of Andover and W. Dennis; her sisters, Marion Olsen of Groveland and Ruth Peterson; and her cousins, Bruce and Kent Donovan.
Her gardens were a great passion and when the recent pandemic prevented her from teaching Bone Builders at the Chelmsford Senior Center, she instead invited the class to come over for garden tours.
Memorial donations may be made in Helen's name to Central Congregational Church, Open Pantry of Lowell, or a charity of your choice.
