He is survived by: his children, Gordon Porter, Jr. (Olga) of Lowell, Lera Ann Porter of Billerica and Kendra Merrill (Robert) of Hudson, MA.; his grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Keara, Danny, Timmy, Austin, Kailey, Kaitlyn, Matthew and Michael; his sisters, Linda Fulton and Nancy Chisholm of Winchester; his friend Geri Woodworth; and his sister Cindy Barbagallo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
