He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Flynn and Kathleen Flynn (Donohoe); his brother-in-law Brian McDonough; and his siblings, Thomas F. Flynn and Kathleen Flynn Diamantopoulos (Cindy).
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Flynn (Sandra Fadden); his daughters-in-law, Joellen Flynn (Carrigg) of Hampton, NH, Thomas M. Flynn and Lynn Flynn (Hoare) of Chelmsford, MA.; his grandchildren, Grampy, Micaela Flynn Mangino (John Mangino), Megan K. Flynn (Ashley Flynn), Matthew J. T. Flynn (Chelsea Pande), Shannon K. Flynn and R. N.; his great grandchildren, Tegan Ella Flynn and John "Jack" Mangino; and his siblings-in-law, Carole McDonough, Eileen, John Greiner, Martha, George Cunha and John Diamantopoulos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
