He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Mason and Phyllis Mason (Reilly); and his sisters, Lauri Solari and Karen Grenier. He is survived by: his sisters, Christina Mason of Bedford, MA and Taylor; his nieces, Francine (Jim Williams) of Pepperell and Linda Campbell of Acton; and his brother-in-law Reynold Solari. He is also survived by five siblings.
