It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evanthia K. Dukakis of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Panos Karatassos and Theona Karatassos (Donkar); her siblings, Eli Karatasoss and Elaine Karatasoss; and her brother-in-law Arthur Dukakis.
She is survived by: her spouse Stratos G. Dukakis; her family, Cape Cod and Savannah; her daughters, Elaine (Peter Berardi), Thea (Michael Tully), Georgia (Brian Genna) and Mary (Derek Piper); her grandchildren, Alex, Matthew Berardi, Evanthia, Catherine, Stratos, Theona Tully, Alexis, Olivia Genna, Eli and Sophia Piper; her siblings, Ignace Karatassos (Georgia), Effie and Elsie Karatassos; and her sister-in-law Patricia Dukakis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
