With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Briggs of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, born in Gardner, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 5, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stuart M. Briggs, Jr.; her parents, Christopher H. Evensen and Lillian Evensen (Anderson); her son James L. Briggs; and her brother David Evensen.
She is survived by: her daughter Anne Burns (Dana) of Millbury, MA; her grandchildren, Amanda W. Burns (Matt Dienhart) of Apex, NC and Christopher S. Burns (Ruth Blaisdell) of Chelmsford; her sister Janet Carr of Stowe, MA; and her siblings-in-law, Joanne Evensen of Mission Viejo, CA, Vinny Abel of Wellesley and William Briggs of Savannah, GA.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
