He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Stuart G. Yates and Faye Yates of Maryland. He is survived by: his brothers, Mark Yates of Tyngsboro, Robert Yates of Tyngsboro and Scott Yates of Lowell; and his aunts, Pat and JoAnn. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
