It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ortler of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Raymond Orth Jr. and Eunice Caroline Orth (Schaefer); her husband Raymond Ortler; her daughters, Susan Anganes (Alan) of Dracut, MA and Linda Crompton (David) of Lowell, MA.; her grandchildren, Cassandra Van Der Hyde (Mark), Andrew Anganes (Amanda), Charles Anganes (Rebekah), Anastasia Chung (Jeffrey), Raymond Anganes, Theodore Anganes, Paul Crompton, Bryan Crompton, Emily Wiebe (Devan), Lisbeth Crompton, Caroline Crompton, Ketie Crompton and Ketia Crompton; her great grandchildren, Amelia, Elias, Ari Van Der Hyde, Abigail Wiebe and Levi Chung; her brother C. Alan Orth (Mrya); her sister-in-law Gertrude Ortler; her sister Lois Orth Hanson (Lee); and her brother-in-law Edmund Ortler. She was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Interment at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Chelmsford will be private. Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will be planned for a later date.
