She was predeceased by: her husband Emanuel S. "Manny" Castro; her mother Mary Salvato (Moschitto); and her sibling Carmen Salvato. She is survived by: her siblings, Leo Salvato, Salvatore Salvato, Joe Salvato, Marie Capachietti and Jennie Micale; her children, Joseph Castro (Laura Giunta) and Maria (Bruce Karafelis); her grandchildren, Timothy Castro (Eleni), Zachary Castro, Anthony Karafelis (Sarah Nolin), Isabella Castro, Sophia Castro and Olivia Castro; and her great grandchild Athena Castro.
