With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter J. Butler (Chatham, Massachusetts), born in Cavan, Ulster, who passed away on January 19, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim and Jean; and his brothers, Richard and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Greg (Laura), Amanda Roble (Jim), Ainslie Whiteman (Seth) and Jillian Liner (Eric); and his sisters, Dorothy Scally (William) and Karina Butler (Paul O'Connell). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; his extended family; and, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
