It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor B. Simpson (Chatham, Massachusetts), born in Harwich, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George F. Simpson; her daughter Arlene Simpson; and her siblings, Edna Baldwin and Tom Barker. She is survived by: her children, George F. "Skip" Simpson (Lisa) of West Barnstable, Matthew H. Simpson of Wolcott, VT, Holly Spicer of Falmouth and Kristin Simpson of Centerville; and her siblings, Marybelle Small and Albert "Bert" Barker of Harwich. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A lifelong resident of Cape Cod, Massachusetts died at Cape Cod Hospital after battling Covid-19.
