It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William L. Ayers Sr. of Charlton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orris Ayers and Florence Ayers (Hines) of West Boylston; his wife Phyllis May Ruggles; his sons, William Lewis Ayers, Jr. (Doreen) of Osprey, FL, David Ruggles Ayers of Brookfield, Paul Joseph Ayers (Deborah) of Brookfield and Robert Ray Ayers (Susan) of Brookfield; his grandchildren, Laura, William Lewis Ayers, III, Cathy Richard, David Ayers, Nicole Richards, Nathan Ayers, Lisa Skoczylas, Brian Ayers, Robert Ayers, Jr. and Alison Ayers; and his sister Ruth Sis-Rawson. He was also cherished by his eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren and his great love for his family dogs.
