He is survived by: his spouse Frances Desmarais (Briand); his children, Normand Desmarais, Jr., Jason Desmarais (Rebecca) and Tonya Lee Desmarais; and his siblings, Robert, John, Donald, Richard, Roger, Dennis, William, Maurice Desmarais, Paulette Madora and Albert Desmarais, Jr.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
