He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Canty and Jean F. Canty (Clapp). He is survived by: his wife Felicity J. Mildner; his children, Nathan J. Canty (Stephanie) of Holland, Charles P. Canty of Charlton and Susan E. Canty of Worcester; his siblings, Kevin J. Canty, Joseph J. Canty, Diane E. Colby, Eileen A. Canty and Patrick J. Canty; and his grandchildren, Jameson C. Canty and Gavin G. Canty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
