She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank J. Mercando and Ida Mercando (Rose); her sister Sandra Buffone; her brother-in-law Joseph Buffone; and her nephew John Buffone.

She is survived by : her significant other Robert F. Eager; her children, Kaylee, Averi and Finnegan; her brother Anthony J. Mercando (Sharon) of Greenville, N. C.; her nieces, Gina O'Mara (Matthew), Kristen Vincent (Jamie) and Nino Mercando; her niece-in-law Nancy Buffone; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Maxx, Grace Buffone, Ellie, John O'Mara, Logan Ray, Sophia and Reagan Vincent. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
