She was predeceased by: her sisters, Jean DiCostanzo and Joyce Fowler; and her parents, John Grendol and Margaret Grendol (Herrie). She is survived by: her husband William J. Foster III; her children, Christopher Foster (Cheryl) of Holden, William Foster IV (Katerina) of Charlton and Karen Allen (Brian) of Holden; her grandchildren, Connor, Evan, Zachary, Chelsey, Ainsley, Addison, Andrew and Liam; and her siblings, John Grendol (Sandy) of Maine and Judith Durkin (Thomas) of Auburn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jan's memory may be made to either St.Jude or Joslin Diabetes Center.
