He was predeceased by: his parents, Domingos Almeida and Maria Dos Anjos Almeida of Saint Michael, Azores.; and his brothers, Manuel Almeida, Jose Almeida, Domingos Almeida and Adriano Almeida Gabriel.
He is survived by: his spouse Alcida M Silva Almeida; and his brother John Almeida (Helena) of Providence, RI.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
