It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Lee McKinstry of Charlton, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Bruce Lee departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bruce Lee. Though Bruce Lee may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Joseph "Bud" and Sophie Rose McKinstry (Borowski). He is survived by: his wife Nancy R. McKinstry (Reil); his brother Gary S. McKinstry (Virginia) of Norway, ME; his nephew Scott L. McKinstry; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Henderson of Douglas, Sally Longwell of Tyngsboro and Peggy LaDow (Tom) of Spencer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home (130 Hamilton St, Southbridge, MA 01550). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Maui Strong Fund, 827 Fort Street Mall.
