With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose M. (Picoraro) Brooks (Charlestown, Massachusetts), born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 17, 2020 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Picoraro and Mary Picoraro (Nardelli); and her sister Eleanor Scarbrough (Roland). She is survived by: her spouse Boston Firefighter Alonzo P. Brooks Jr.; her children, Eleanor Haynie of Medford and Boston Firefighter Richard Brooks (Ellen) of Billerica; her grandchildren, Jennifer Haynie (Daniel Willis), Richard Brooks Jr., Michael Brooks (Michelle) and Corey Brooks; her great grandchild Lillian Grace Brooks; and her brothers, Joseph Picoraro (Helen) and Andrew Picoraro. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
