He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas P. Smith and Mary (Harkins). He is survived by: his wife Deborah J. (Ridlon); and his siblings, Ramona Allard of Blackstone, Daniel, Dorothy (Aileen Smith), William P. Smith (Theodore G. Smith), Una Marie Graves of West Wareham and Kathy Perito (Thomas Smith) of Wilmington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
