With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jesse G. Kula in Charlestown, Massachusetts, born in Harwinton, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his pet Bandi; his grandparents, Eleanor, Jozef Kula, Joan and Harold Wood, Jr.; and his close friend William Nadeau.
He is survived by: his significant other Sarah Cechvala; his mother Jo-Ann Wood; his father-in-law James Dinda of Farmington, Connecticut; his father Gregory Kula of Chuckey, Tennessee; his sister Becki Hildrew (Doug) of Bethany, Connecticut; his nieces and nephews, Lyra and Rhys; and also Amanda Call of Simsbury. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carr Funeral Home (220 Bunker Hill St, Charlestown, MA 02129). A reception was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Soccer Without Borders, in honor of Jesse's lifelong love for the game and the simple pleasure he took in sharing it with those around him.
