He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Hingston and Janice Hingston (Blaikie); his brother Brian P. Hingston (Tammy); his mother-in-law Ruthie Gorman; and his siblings-in-law, Mark Gorman and Michelle Gorman-McCabe (Jocko).
He is survived by: his wife Andrea F. Gorman-Hingston; his children, Alexa Hingston and Michelle Hingston; and his siblings-in-law, Ruthanne Brennan (Norman), Kim Sodergren (John) and Michele Lynch Savoia. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
