With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor T. Murphy (Charlestown, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 22, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Ridings and Elizabeth Ridings (Malanfy); her husband Joseph M. Murphy; and her sister Mary Guittarr. She is survived by: her son Michael J. Murphy (AnneMarie); her grandchildren, Jason Scales (Katie), Jillian Hess (Will) and Joseph Murphy; her great grandchildren, Jason, Lauren, Megan, Henry and Liam; her siblings, Geraldine Ridings, Boston Firefighter Ronald Ridings, Dorothy Spinney, Alfred Ridings, Joseph Ridings, Robert Ridings, John Ridings and Richard Ridings; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Ridings and Mary Ridings. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
