She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Mirdik (Welch) and John Mirdik; her son Jonathan Whalen; her siblings, Tobi Mirdik and Scott Mirdik; and her grandparents, Grace Welch, Thomas Welch, Andrew and Josephine Mirdik. She was also cherished by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Her burial will be private. (FACIAL COVERINGS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING IS REQUIRED INSIDE FUNERAL HOME AND CHURCH).
