It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen A. (Scalley) Smith of Carver, Massachusetts, born in Woburn, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 27, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Walter Gatley; and her sister Linda Gately. She is survived by: her sons, Richard Smith Jr. (Carmela Galdones) and David Smith (Lauren Beote) of Stoneham; her husband Richard Smith Sr.; her grandchildren, Alyssia T. Smith and Mia Leeann Smith; her siblings, Donna Gately of Woburn, Janet Gately of Gloucester and Walter "Butch" Scalley; and her friend Judith Scott. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
