We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2023, at the age of 97, Enid Harju of Carver, Massachusetts, born in South Carver, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Oiva Harju; her parents, Jaakko Wainio (Jacob) and Hilja Sofia Kallio; her siblings, Emmi Wainio (Kaarlo Kivi), Waino E. Wainio (Pearl Jackson), Linnia E. Wainio (William Anderson), Aina S. Wainio (Onnie Ahlberg), Uno O. Wainio (Elsie Makela), Saimi O. Wainio (Amos McGinnis), Urho J. Wainio (Irja Kantakancas), Carl Wainio, Alfred E. Wainio and Helen J. Wainio (John Rogers); and her grandchild Dana Harju.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Harju (Bettygene) of Middleboro, Edwin Harju (Elaine) of Carver, Ronald Harju (Karen) of Middleboro and Kristine Harju (Bradley Smith) of Georgia; her grandchildren, Derek Harju (Elizabeth), Keith Harju (Ian), Jolene Harju Madewell (Joshua), David DiSciullo (Tina) and Michael DiSciullo (Colette); her great grandchildren, Grace, Quinn, Blake, Austin, Fiona, Jack Harju, Alex, Andrew, Keira, Krystal, Dylan and Aubrey; and her sister-in-law Mildred Wainio (Herries).
