She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Checkley; her parents, Frank Tokarski and Lillian Tokarski (Woodward); and her brother Paul Tokarski. She is survived by: her daughters, Crystal Scott of Ohio, Angela Simpson of New York and Teresa Houston of Carver; and her sisters, Donna Forest of Maine and Laura Kottis. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
