He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Dietlin (Messier); his parents, Andrew Dietlin and Josephine Dietlin (Kuhn); his daughter Ann Dietlin; and his brother Joseph Dietlin.
He is survived by: his children, David (Patt) of Bourne, Susan Dietlin of Boston and Christine Dietlin (Stanley Lyness) of Boston; his sister Rita Mohler of Fairfield, OH; and his grandsons, Keith and Scott Dietlin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
