She was predeceased by : her husband Walter Grainger Bretnall; and her parents, Maurice Slater and Hazel Slater (Reiben). She is survived by : her children, Jay W. Bretnall of Greenville, NC and Lori Canavan (David) of Carlisle, MA.; and her grandchildren, Ericka Igoe (Stephen Igoe), Kelsey, Brendon and Colleen Canavan.
