He was predeceased by : his wife Anita Israel. He is survived by : his children, Robin Dixon, Kevin Macauley and Amber Leddy; his grandchildren, Kyle Leddy, Jonathan Leddy, Katie Dixon, Kenneth Cooper Dixon, Rebecca Dixon, Hansen Chao, Vivian Chao and Evelyn Macauley; and his close friend Toni Wolfeman.
