She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Polk Ginn and Ella Belle Ginn; her siblings, Patsy and J. P. Jr. "Bubba"; and her son-in-law Michael Cowdrey.

She is survived by : her husband Norman J. Fredkin; her children, Rachelle Fredkin Cowdrey, Jay Fredkin (Joanne) and Rozanne Fredkin; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Jake, Alex, Eric and Harley.
