It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John P. O'Brien Jr. of Canton, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 3, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John P. leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Visitation was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Folsom Funeral Home (87 Milton St, Dedham, MA 02026). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Anne's Church (82 W Milton St, Boston, MA 02136).

“Dear Florence, I was so sad to hear of young John's passing as well as Tara's. I met up with him a couple years ago after 30 years out of the country. He did a driveway for me. We had a great chat about the old days and my brother, Finbar. It was nice to see what a fine lad he turned out to be. He was far too young to pass on. My thoughts are with you and your family.
