It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elliot Nelson of Canton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elsie Nelson (Yaffee) and Nathaniel Nelson (Ned); his wife Nancy (Brooks); his daughters, Elissa Sherman and Lori Chesloff; his children-in-law, Adam Sherman and Jondavid Chesloff; his grandchildren, Alexander Sherman, Marley Sherman, Sadie Chesloff and Tessa Chesloff; and his brother C. Richard Nelson (Dick). He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sharon Memorial Park (40 Dedham St, Sharon, MA 02067). A shiva was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Orchard Cove (1 Del Pond Dr, Canton, MA 02021).
Remembrances may be made to the Orchard Cove Scholarship Fund, or to the charity of one's choice.
